I have to say that I am really glad that I didn't have the difficult job of being a judge. After reading some of the stories that didn't make it into the book, I can't imagine how they were able to pick!
The anthology should be released sometime in early August. I will make sure to keep you all posted.
I'd like to also wish Debora Geary a Happy Birthday! She is the mastermind behind the anthology and the brilliant author of several novels and a novel nibble. (How cute is that? Novel Nibble...)
In other news, I am frantically working on Mortal Obligation to finish all of the little details that need to be done before publishing. I hope to have eARC's available for review a week or so before publishing, but that is one of those things that will be determined a little closer to the publishing date. I have also started working on the second novel in The Dark Betrayal Trilogy. I hope to have that one ready for publishing in November. Don't hold me to that... it is just a goal at this point, but one that I am serious about!
Also, keep checking back for the new and improved first chapter of Mortal Obligation. I should have it posted either this weekend or next weekend. I am so excited and nervous about my looming publishing date. There are so many things to be taken care of and managed. It is completely worth it though. I am so glad to be doing what I love.
