Hey guys!

This weekend has been bumpy. Trust me, it's been a very bumpy weekend and I've done everything I could to get Immortal Grave out to all of you as quickly as possible.

But it's FINALLY live on Amazon.com!

http://www.amazon.com/Immortal-Grave-Betrayal-Trilogy-ebook/dp/B009JAHQ4U/ref=sr_1_3?s=digital-text&ie=UTF8&qid=1349030343&sr=1-3&keywords=immortal+grave

I'm still waiting on Barnes and Noble, but hopefully we won't have to wait much longer!!!

Thank you to everyone that has made this possible! Your support has been amazing.

Immortal Grave, you ask? It's been uploaded!

Friday, September 28, 2012

I just wanted to let you all know as soon as I was finished doing it, but Immortal Grave has been officially uploaded to Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and Smashwords.

Smashwords is live! So, if you can't wait for Amazon or Barnes and Noble, you can buy your copy here.

While darklings ransack the city, Ree and her friends will learn the depth of the gods manipulations. Unsure of who is really on their side, Ree must step accept her destiny and assume the role of leader. The stakes are higher than they've ever been. Death will hunt them from every shadowy corner. People will die, love will be tested, and the fate of the world will be decided--one way or the other.

No more running.

No more hiding.

The final battle is here.

I will post the links once the book is live on the other sites. I know that you guys have had to wait and I hope that you all are happy with the conclusion of the trilogy. Thank you all for being such wonderful readers. Your support has made this journey more than I could have hoped for.

Flukes: Status Update and Research pictures

Monday, September 24, 2012

First and foremost, I want to let you all know that Immortal Grave is still with my editor. She had to work me into the schedule (how awesome is she? Very!) so I didn't have to wait months to get it edited all. I know a lot of you are frustrated and want to know a release date, but this is happening, folks. It's in the process. And I will have it out and in your hands as soon as humanly possible. I'm just as anxious for you to read it as you are!!!

So, Flukes is finished and in the hands of my lovely, magnanimous critique partners. Tadaaaa! If all goes to plan, we are on track for the October 8th release date. This book is very different from the Dark Betrayal Trilogy. 1) It's in first person and told by multiple points of view-- two to be exact. Both Meena and Blake have a voice in this story. 2) This is a paranormal romance, not an urban fantasy. 3) This book will be labeled as New Adult, which means the characters are college age-- 18/19 and should be read with that in mine (in other words, there is profanity, sexual situations, and some violence.)

In May I went to the Bahamas to research a little more about Dolphin/ Animal sanctuaries that also hosted tourists. (Isn't my job awesome?) I wanted to share some of the pictures that I took while down there. Give you a little inside look into what helped shape Flukes.

Don't forget to check out my Pinterest Board for Flukes, the Dark Betrayal Trilogy, and Suddenly Royal.

Flukes Teaser

Monday, September 17, 2012

So, while Immortal Grave is with my editor, I'm busy working on Flukes. And boy, oh boy. This book is something else.

I wanted to share a little teaser for you guys. Let you see a little more of Blake and Meena. :)

(This is unedited, so it might change a little.)

It felt like forever before I heard the splashing that announced she was back. I sat forward and smiled when I heard her make a shocked choking sound. I picked up her shorts and held them up for her to see.

“You forgot a towel!” I didn’t get up. I wanted to watch her walk out of the water.

She sputtered some and thrashed around a bit more. I stood up, worried that she had managed to get attacked by a shark in three feet of water.

“Are you okay?” I started to walk down the beach. I didn’t want to be the asshole that sat under a palm tree while some girl was eaten alive in front of him.

“Stay where you are! I’m fine!” Meena’s voice was sharp and breathless.

“What’s wrong?” I froze in place, still worried she might need help.

“Nothing. I have to put my bottoms back on.”

My brain fritzed for a minute, before my mouth tugged up in a grin. “Need some help?”

“No!” She pushed the wet hair out of her eyes and glared at me.

“Were you skinny dipping? It’s a lot more fun when you have someone else with you.” Please ask me to go, please.

“Yeah, I bet you’d know.” Her voice drifted to my ears and made my smile grow even more.

“What was that?” I pretended like I didn't hear her and took a couple of steps forward. “You want me to come help?”

“Nothing! No! I don’t need any help, thank you very much.” She stood up in the water, and I felt my blood pressure rise. “I was not skinny dipping. I just had sand in my bathing suit.”

She stomped angrily up the beach, before coming to stand in front of me. Her teal eyes glowed in the moonlight as she glared holes in my chest. She yanked her shorts out of my hand and pulled them up over her long legs. When she stood back up, she pushed the wet hair out of her face, but didn’t move away. My left hand tingled and I fought the urge to pull her against my chest.

Immortal Grave Book Trailer

Thursday, September 13, 2012

I can't wait.

I just got the trailer for Immortal Grave. And...

I. Must. Share. It.

What do you think?? It's simple, but gives you a little taste of what you're in for.

Soon, people. Soon.

Update, signed paperbacks, and a SALE!

Sunday, September 9, 2012

So, I promised to keep you all updated. Immortal Grave is currently with my editor and she is making it all pretty. Hopefully it will be out and ready for you guys to read by the end of the month/ early October. *insert squeal here* I'm really, really, really in love with Immortal Grave. I hope you guys will love it just as much as I do. This book was very difficult to write. We fought, we made up, we fought some more. But in the end, it's what I had hoped for the whole time.

So, to celebrate that Immortal Grave is almost ready, I decided to lower the ebook price to $0.99. I know a lot of people don't like to start new series until they are finished, so let's spread the word. Not only is Immortal Grave getting ready to make her entrance, Mortal Obligation cost less than a cheeseburger. And is much healthier for you too!

So, if you have a Kindle, you can get Mortal Obligation here.
If you have a Nook (let's here it for the nookies!), you can get it here.
And if you have a different device, you can get a copy here!

I also have some left over paperback versions of Mortal Obligation (with the new cover!) from the Decatur event. If you would like to get a signed paperback, let me know! For people living in the U.S. the cost is $13. That includes shipping. If you live out of the U.S., let me know and I will figure out how much the shipping would cost. You can paypal the money to me at: nicholechase.author@gmail.com

Be sure to include who you want the book dedicated to and where to send the book. :) I'm working on getting a button set up on the blog, but for now you can just use the email address I listed above.

Thanks to everyone that has made my writing journey so incredibly awesome. The last couple of years have been a dream come true.

The 2012 Decatur Book Festival

Wednesday, September 5, 2012

This past weekend I went to the Decatur Book Festival, where I shared a booth with several talented authors. It was a blast. A really, hot, sweaty bunch of fun.

Friday night, I attended an Indie author event arranged by Vania Stoyanova. I met some wonderful readers, authors, had a great time! Although, I think you will be able to tell from the pictures!

Adam Kunz and Amy Jones (I really love this picture.)

The fabulous (and extremely sweet) Ella James and hilarious Heather from Supa Gurl Books. (I love her purple hair!)

Sarah Ross and Ash from Smash Attack Reads.

S.J. Wellis, Laura Elliot, and JL Bryan (who managed to escape being covered in cream puff crumbs, even though I accidentally flung one at him. Yeah, I'm that clumsy. Or so hungry I was trying to eat my food like a crazed gremlin.)

Saturday was the first day of the festival. It was a bright and early morning for all of us! We were supposed to have two booths for the six authors, but there was a mistake and we only had one booth. O.O Thankfully, we all love each other a great deal (and wore lots of deodorant).

Our home for the weekend.

We really did have a great time and I love these ladies even more than before! (If that's possible.) Liz Reinhardt is quick to make you laugh. Sarah Ross can sell anyones books! (She's really talented!) Colleen Hoover is always so calm and laid back, but her jokes will make you pee your pants. Rebecca Donovan is gorgeous, no matter what angle you look at her from! Abbi Glines is like a drug dealer to book addicts. Her adorable Alabama twang and happy personality made the heat easier to bear. And did I mention all of the fun we had?

I also had the pleasure of meeting some wonderful readers and ran into some friends that I hadn't seen in ages!

This lovely lady graduated with my younger sister. I was so excited when she peeked into the booth, I think I jumped up and down!

This adorable reader made my whole trip worthwhile! I was thrilled to meet her! Thrilled.

The Decatur Book Festival was a lot of fun. I loved getting to hang out with my friends, make new friends, and meet some lovely readers and bloggers. Decatur is a lovely little town and they welcomed the Book Festival with open arms. Thanks to everyone that made my trip so wonderful!
