When life hands you lemons, you can either make lemonade or throw them at people.
Guess which one I decided to do? Yep. I'm going to have to repaint my bedroom to cover up all of the yellow stains. I have a terrible arm. ;)
Okay, okay. I did save a few lemons for lemonade. I've been very sick and stuck in bed for a week. I was going stir crazy. Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays and I wanted to be planning cool deserts and forcing my husband to get out the Christmas stuff. Instead I was confined to bed. I had to do something write? WRITE! Yeah, I just punned you. But that's what I did. I've had an idea for a Christmas story for a while and was planning on publishing it next year. But there I was, needing a good distraction.
SO! Voila!

On Christmas
Hill
By
Nichole Chase
When Gertie Nichols passed away, her estate was given to her
great niece, Molly. After making the long trek from Florida to Vermont with her
dog Remy, Molly is caught off guard by the attractive groundskeeper her aunt
left in charge. At first her lonely holiday seems to be shaping up to be better
than expected—until Nate tells her about the Nichols family legacy and the
secret of Christmas Hill.
As sparks fly and magic blossoms right before her eyes,
Molly will have to decide whether to take up the mantle her of great aunt that’s been left behind or turn her back on tradition and the man who has quickly garnered
space in her heart.
Since I wasn't originally planning on publishing OCH this year, I don't have an exact release day yet, but I'm hoping in the next couple of weeks. I promise to keep you all updated as soon as it goes live. On Christmas Hill is a short story and not related to my other series. HOWEVER! I think that you will enjoy the romance and the hint of magic that is part of Christmas Hill. Also, I have plans for continuing this series for future holidays. So, keep your eyes open. :)
Thank you to everyone that has been so kind and helpful while I've been out of the loop. Your kind words and sweet actions have made my life so much better. This Thanksgiving I am grateful for every single one of you.
