I know, I know. I've been slack and not posted much in the last month. I'd apologize, but I've been sick. Beyond sick. And then managed to get even sicker. And around the holidays, that just makes everything super difficult. I'm doing much better now, but unfortunately, my posting will continue to be a little spotty for the next month or so. I have a lot of personal and professional obligations in the next few weeks, including finishing up Suddenly Royal. I'm still not ready to give an exact release date, but I will once I'm certain. Promise. Scouts honor.
Just to keep everyone up on what I'm working on and things that are happening with my writing:
*Suddenly Royal is the next book to be released. Then, I'm hoping to have Riptide, the next book in the Flukes series finished and ready for everyone. After that... well... I have a couple of ideas and I'm waiting on my muse to help me decide. I've had an idea for an adult paranormal romance and I've been tinkering with my notes. I have so many books and characters floating around in my head, sometimes I wonder if there is any room left for me! Just kidding... I think. Or someone thinks... Well, one of us will let you know when we have more definite plans. ;)
*Mortal Obligation has over 100 reviews on Amazon US. Know what that means? A chapter from Roland's POV is coming your way. I will be posting that soon, so check back when you can.
*Did a little more research for Riptide this weekend and learned a lot! I'll try to post some pictures when I have time.
*I've received countless messages asking if there will be more books in the Dark Betrayal Trilogy. The short answer is, no. It's a trilogy and there are three books that tell the complete story. Will there be more books set in that world? Yes. When? I'm not sure. I have a rough outline for two books. These books will not be from Ree's perspective, but rather one or two of her friends. This is not something that I am focusing on right this minute. I learned a lot while writing the trilogy, and am really excited to write that world from a different perspective. But for right now, I needed to focus on something different.
*I'd like to take a moment to thank everyone that purchased and helped spread the word about my short story, On Christmas Hill. I was blown away by the support. It was something that had been bee-bopping around in my head for a while, and I decided to just go ahead and give it life. I'm thrilled that so many of you enjoyed Nate and Molly. I'm hoping to continue the Christmas Hill series in the future, but at longer lengths. So next November/December keep your eyes open.
I hope everyone has had a great New Year so far! Sending you all heartfelt wishes for an exciting new chapter in your life.
