I know I've said this already, but the last few weeks? They've been made of some crazy, amazing, awesome things! I have two announcements. Are you ready?
I've signed with Rebecca Friedman of the Hill Nadell Agency. She will now represent my work and handle all inquiries about rights. I'm very excited about working with Rebecca. She's read and loved Suddenly Royal and has the same goals for the books as I do. I can't wait to see where we go together!
In other news... last night I received early news that SUDDENLY ROYAL hit the New York Times Bestseller List (#16 on the efiction list and #22 on efiction and print combined list)... AND the USA Today Bestseller List!
So, my life lately?

OMG!! Congrats Nicole!! I finished reading Suddenly Royal and completely fell in love with it!! So for this week, I am happy that a talented writer such as yourself made the NY Times and USA Bestselling Lists! Honestly, while I was reading the book, I knew it was going to make the lists because it was just that magical! Then I loved it so much, I left a 5 star review on Amazon and tweeted it! The book is just so amazing and you deserve all the accolades!!!

ReplyDeleteThe thing that has made me happiest this week is the fact that spring has finally arrived, I got to spend time over the weekend sitting in my garden enjoying the sunshine & reading which felt like heaven and we also managed to have our first barbecue of the year which always feels good.
Hmm what has made me happy this week.. Probably seeing both of my nieces together. One of them is nearly 3, the other three weeks old and the three year old just lights up my life and seeing them both together makes me so proud. I <3 it.

ReplyDeleteWhat made me the happiest this week? My 3 year old niece. Sigh.
I don't get to see her very often and yesterday when she came to visit, she and I played monster. She was the monster and it was just... the moment had no words to describe it. All I could do was pretend to cower and hide my smile. She has this uber cute face so her trying to be scary--with all of her might--was just the most precious thing ever.

This week I have the pride of a new life to join our family, and the week of Christmas, I get a brand new baby Haxby for a present. I have two weeks made this year, 40 if you include the pregnancy. ReplyDeleteWhat I am most happy about is being home from college in DC for a month, back in the mountains of Colorado with my family, especially my mother! Spending quality time with her these past few days has been amazing, she is such a rock and inspiration in my life, and truly the best friend and mother I could ever ask for.
