In the states the majority of us are getting ready to spend hours in a kitchen before donning our 'fat pants' and stuffing ourselves with yummy goodness. We'll spend time being thankful that we have family to argue with and friends visiting to cheer along our favorite sports teams.

What are some of your favorite things about the holidays? I love the smell of the cooking food, the bustling of people as they tried to get everything just right, that feeling of being with people that accept you for you. Bonus points if it's cold and overcast outside. My favorite feeling is the cozy sensation you have when the weather is cold and foreboding outside, but everything inside is snuggly, warm, and comfortable.

England, love.” He trailed a finger down the side of my cheek.
“You know what I meant.” I narrowed
my eyes.
“And you compared yourself to a
turkey.” A glimmer appeared in his eyes.
“Okay, I wasn’t making much sense—“
“You were rambling.” He leaned
forward and kissed my chin then the tip of my nose. “But you did say something
that made sense.”
“I did?” My voice was breathless as
he kissed one cheek and then the other.
“Yes, my American turkey, you did.”
His chuckle lifted the weight that had settled in my stomach.
